Antonella Calabretti graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Trieste with an experimental thesis in Food Chemistry entitled "Effect of climate adaptation on the lipid and amino acids component in trout breeding (Oncorhyncus mykiss).
In 1998 she obtained the qualification to the profession of Pharmacist, supporting the state examination at the University of Trieste.
In the three years 1998-2001 she holds a PhD in Commodities Sciences with a thesis entitled "Analytical evaluation of off-flavor in virgin olive oils".
In 2010 she obtained the nominationas an expert in "Food Chemistry" (SSD CHIM / 10) while in 2016 she obtained the nomination of "High Qualification Expert" for the teaching of Pharmaceutical Legislation (SSD CHIM / 09).
She is currently adjunct professor of Pharmaceutical Legislation at the University of Trieste and Food Chemistry at the University of Basilicata, Potenza.
